International J/22 Class Association 2016 World Championship Hosted by CORK/Sail Kingston Kingston, Ontario, Canada August 19-25, 2016 Notice of Race On behalf of the International J/22 Class Association and the Canadian J/22 Class Association, CORK/Sail Kingston (the “Organizing Authority”) is pleased to invite all eligible sailors to the 2016 J/22 World Championship Regatta. 1. RULES 1.1. The regatta will be governed by the rules as defined in The Racing Rules of Sailing (“RRS”) including the Sail Canada Prescriptions set out in Appendix A. 1.2. The class rules for the purposes of the definition of rule will be the International J/22 Class Rules. 1.3. In the event of a conflict between languages, the English text will take precedence. 1.4. RRS Appendix A is modified by 10.4, below. 1.5. Under rule 87, rule 4.6 of the class rules is modified by 5.5, below. 2. ADVERTISING 2.1.
