A former McIntosh County high school teacher accused of sexually assaulting two male high school students may have done so twice in her classroom and once
at a diner at Darien, according to arrest warrants filed in
McIntosh County Superior Court.
Lori Carmichael Quigley, 41, a former mathematics teacher at McIntosh
County Academy, is being held in the
McIntosh County Detention Center after being arrested Friday by sheriff’s
deputies on three counts of sexual assault by a person with supervisory or
disciplinary authority.
Arrest warrants made available
Wednesday to The News as public records indicate police believe Quigley
engaged in sexual contact separately with two students
from her math class between September 2013 and January 2014.
One warrant alleges, “This act took place in the classroom of Lori Quigley at McIntosh County Academy.”
Her arrest on that charge involves one student, and
the two other warrants accuse Quigley of a similar act
