During 2012 QPP collaborated with the School of Psychology and Counselling at QUT to
assist recruitment for a unique research project which aimed to examine helpful - or
unhelpful (as the case may be) – patterns of thinking in connection to HIV Stigma and
(Mental) Health Outcomes [1]
. The purpose of this study was to examine the role of
unhelpful thinking patterns in relation to HIV stigma and the experience of distressing
feelings, thoughts and behaviours among gay and bisexual men living with HIV.
