The play is based on emails exchanged between two real life characters - Amrita and Jaypee. Jaypee collaborated with playwright Balram to come up with this play after Amrita died in an accident on October 22, 2012. It tells the story of unusual relationship shared by the two. The drama begins after Amrita dies. Trying to escape from the pain Jaypee delves into his memories through the emails that both wrote to each other. Here unfolds the story of transformation of Amrita as she learns to fight with her demons with Jaypee firmly standing by her. Her son Sidharth from her broken marriage is the subtle link between the two. She wishes this relationship to go on like this but life betrays. After her death Sidharth too is taken away from Jaypee. Here begins the makeover of Jaypee. He realises it is not possible to go beyond the fear of ‘separation’ and ‘insecurity, without going beyond the self. Alone on the stage at the climactic point of the play he chooses this way of going inwards.
