We arrived in Portugal airport and from there we went to Aveiro where we did our
first visit.
We visited “Aveiro Light” also known as “Barra Lighthouse”.
Barra Lighthouse is
about 62m tall and has about 271 stairs.
We went up to the top of Barra Lighthouse and the
view was incredible.
It has been said that Barra Lighthouse is the nineteenth tallest
"traditional lighthouse" in the world, as well as the tallest in Portugal.
The lighthouse is
located on the south side of the entrance to the Aveiro lagoon, in Barra, the seaside
neighbourhood of Aveiro.
The location is on a barrier beach, exposed to Atlantic Oceans
storms.
After, we had a walk at Costa Nova.
Costa Nova has houses with colorful stripes
derived from the original wooden houses of fishermen.
These wooden houses are
increasingly rare to see.
