International Women´s Day 8th March 2014
The week running up to 8th
March, each class learnt about the celebration of International
Women´s Day. In English, each class completed a worksheet about the Topic and filled in
various activities to learn about the celebration. The worksheet involved an exercise where the
children needed to fill in the various jobs that they do around the house, what jobs women
and men have- showing the equality between both, what job each student would like to do
when they are older and the different types of professions. The students really enjoyed the
worksheet and it was a great help being able to practice their written skills and they worked
together with one another to come up with some of the answers. Less
