During the week of November
14-18, 2011 a team from
the Arkansas Department of
Education will visit Hampton
Elementary School to conduct
a comprehensive assessment
of the school’s strengths and
challenges.
The process
is conducted state-wide to
schools in years 3 and above
of school improvement to
help schools determine which
school practices are producing
desired results and which are
not.
These practices focus
on research-based standards
and indicators identified
in the areas of academic
performance, learning
environment and efficiency.
Team members will begin
to review school documents
before the visit begins.
On
Monday, they will arrive
before school starts and stay
until school ends.
This will
continue throughout the week.
They will be available to visit
with parents, students and
community members.
