More than 75 active, motivated and intelligent young Georgian enthusiasts
gathered in the city of Telavi on May 18, to attend 3 day Regional Session organized
by the European Youth Parliament Georgia (EYP GEORGIA).
The theme of the session
was “Setting Directions for a Better Future”.
UNFPA CO provided its financial and technical
support to young organizers.
It assisted in preparation of two committee meetings on FEMM
(Committee on Women s Rights and Gender Equality) and ENVI (Committee on Environment, Public Health and Food Safety).
The
outcome document of the Regional Session was the Youth Declaration, which addresses Sexual and Reproductive Health, Youth
Rights and Gender Equality.
