in Tbilisi, with the aim to prioritize
youth issues in national reforms and
decision-making process.
The Minister of Sport and Youth Affairs of Georgia, Mr.
Levan Kipiani
opened the meeting, putting emphasis
on the importance of youth issues in
national policies: “The greatest treasure of our society is young generation.
I am grateful to our partners
UNICEF and UNFPA, as well as participating non-governmental actors,
without which the government
wouldn’t have been able to cope with
the youth-related issues alone.
I am
grateful that they these agencies do
everything to elaborate youth policy
document, which will ensure structured dialogue between the government and youth.
