The aim of the project is to support rehabilitationandsocialre-integrationofex-prisoners
in the European Union.
The project will
providethepublicwithnewimageofdetention
centres,differentfromthecommonstereotypes
shown on television orfilms.
The project entitled Voci di dentro (“voices from inside”)
willusevisualaswellasaudio-mediatochange
this by allowing prisoners to express themselves.
The project will create a link between
the prisoners and the outside world.
The
result of the project will be two-fold: it will
contribute to mitigate the effect of isolation
oftheprisoners,leadingtoeasierre-integration
intosocietyoncetheirsentenceisover.
People
willhaveaninsightintolifeinsideadetention
centre which will help them understand prisoners’problems.
Theywillthereforebemore
tolerant and more inclined to help them in
their re-integration.
The partnership will be based on the cooperation between social workers, associations
