Strengths Unlike the 3 programs closest to ours we have two (2) barrier free showers allowing us to serve persons who may
not be enrolled daily but who will come for dignified, safe personal care. Our building has the capacity to serve
190 persons while the center closest to us (15 miles away) can only accommodate 72 per day. Unlike the two, (2)
centers near us we have 12,000 square feet allowing us to demarcate the building for serving multiple populations
with varying behaviors and needs.
Weaknesses Enrollment as a vendor with the nearest Medicaid waiver program is closed for 6 months, prohibiting us from
enrolling Medicaid waiver enrollees for several months after we are open. We will not cease to allow these
individuals to attend and will request a daily contribution from these based upon a sliding scale that considers
their income and personal expenses. We will refer them to the waiver agent with the hope that they can have
